Hi! I’m Lacy, the face (and camera!) behind Lacy Clagg Photography. I’ve been passionately capturing life’s moments for over 20 years, from family milestones and sweet newborn snuggles to dynamic branding sessions for small businesses. I’m a lifelong learner, I started taking photography and marketing classes back in 1999 at Indiana University and I still love refining my craft, whether that’s mastering lighting, composition, or perfecting an edit in Lightroom or Photoshop.
I’ve called Brownsburg Indiana home for 10 years, and it’s been the backdrop to so many of life’s beautiful seasons, watching my kids grow up, cheering at school events, and celebrating graduations right here in our community. That experience of parenting, living local, and watching families evolve deeply informs the way I work: with patience, warmth, and a genuine desire to help you remember the right now.
For families, I love documenting real connection the laughter, the cuddles, the candid beautiful chaos of life. For small businesses, I enjoy creating branding imagery that tells your story, shows off your personality, and gives you visuals you’re proud to share online and in print.
In addition to my local work, I offer travel sessions for families and couples across the United States and around the world. From iconic destinations like New York and Austin to closer favorites such as Cleveland, Chicago, and Cincinnati, I love meeting clients wherever their story takes them. I’ve also had the opportunity to photograph unforgettable moments abroad in England, Ireland, Scotland, Japan, and Mexico. Whether it’s a destination trip, a milestone getaway, or a meaningful adventure close to home, my goal is to turn those experiences into timeless images you’ll treasure long after the journey ends.
No matter the session, my goal is simple: to make you feel comfortable, to capture you at your best, and to provide images you’ll treasure for years to come.
