My Favorite Cincy Locations

These are some of my most favorite locations. Most are free to have a session at but a few do require permits. Cincy has some of the best parks and areas!

Vinoklet Winery & Restaurant

Vinoklet is such a hidden gem for family sessions, it feels like you’ve stepped into the countryside without leaving Cincinnati. The rolling vineyards, lakes, and open skies create a soft, romantic European feel that’s hard to replicate elsewhere. With over 30 acres of vines and scenic views, you get tons of variety in one location. It’s especially stunning at golden hour when the light hits the vineyard rows, making it perfect for warm, glowy edits.

Ault Park

This is the gold standard Cincinnati photo location for a reason. The grand Italian-style pavilion, sweeping staircases, and formal gardens give you a timeless, elevated look that works for everything from playful families to dressy sessions. You can easily shoot multiple “looks” without moving far, which is perfect for keeping kids engaged. The hilltop setting also gives you gorgeous light and views, especially at golden hour.

Downtown Hamilton

Whether we are walking along the main roads or popping into the local ice cream shop, there are tons of spots I love in this area. So many amazing tucked away spaces by the coffee shops and on bridges. You can get so many looks in such a small area.

Devou Park

Devou Park delivers one of the most iconic skyline views in the Cincinnati area. It’s perfect if you want that “wow” backdrop with wide open space for kids to move naturally. The overlook is especially magical at sunset when the city lights start to glow. You also have wooded paths and open fields nearby for softer, more organic shots.

Eden Park

Eden Park is basically a little bit of everything in one location—water, gardens, skyline, and architecture. Mirror Lake adds beautiful reflections, while the surrounding trees create a soft, romantic feel. It’s a great choice for families who want variety without feeling rushed. Bonus: it’s right next to multiple other great photo spots.

Rentschler Forest

Beautiful woods & trails! This location is amazing with tiny spots. I love the creek bed during summer! The huge white distressed barn in the front is an amazing spot as well. Lots of little tucked away spots. Great for a picnic snuggle.

Krohn Conservatory

This is your go-to for winter or unpredictable weather sessions. Inside, you get lush greenery, tropical vibes, and soft filtered light that flatters everyone. The seasonal exhibits can also add a unique twist depending on the time of year. It’s perfect for families wanting something a little different from typical outdoor parks.

Cincinnati Art Museum

The museum grounds offer stunning stone architecture, clean lines, and a refined, editorial feel. It’s ideal for families who lean toward a more polished or elevated look. The neutral tones photograph beautifully in any season. Plus, the surrounding park gives you the option to mix in greenery.

Washington Park

If you want energy and personality, this is the spot. The fountains, city surroundings, and nearby historic buildings create a vibrant, playful vibe. It’s especially great for families with younger kids who want movement and interaction. You’ll get a fun mix of candid and urban storytelling images.

Winton Woods

What a stunning location! You can’t beat it. Horses, barns, pigs, chickens. So many little spots for photo opportunities. I love the small pond out front. The sun sets right behind it and the amazing lush natural landscape.

Smale Riverfront Park

This location blends city and nature in the best way. You’ve got swings, bridges, fountains, and skyline views all within walking distance. It’s super kid-friendly, which makes sessions feel relaxed and natural. Plus, the Ohio River backdrop adds a unique Cincinnati touch.

Sharon Woods

Sharon Woods is perfect for a peaceful, nature-heavy session. The lake, trails, and tall trees create a calm, organic backdrop. It’s ideal for families who want a relaxed, storytelling feel. Fall sessions here are especially beautiful.

French Park

French Park feels like a hidden gem with tons of variety. You’ll find wooded trails, open fields, and a historic home that adds character. It’s especially stunning in the fall with rich colors and soft light. Great for families wanting a more natural, slightly less “busy” setting.

Glenwood Gardens

This park can get busy BUT right at sunset it slows down and I can get the most glorious images. The structures are beautiful and make for fantastic framing. Short walks to the various overlooks are just breathtaking.

Mt. Echo Park

This west-side overlook gives you dramatic skyline views without the crowds of some other locations. The pavilion adds structure, while the open view creates a cinematic feel. Sunset sessions here are stunning. It’s a great option for families wanting something bold but still simple.

Findlay Market

Findlay Market is full of color, texture, and personality. It’s perfect for lifestyle sessions that feel candid and real. The surrounding Over-the-Rhine area adds even more variety with brick buildings and murals. Best for families who want a more editorial, documentary vibe.

Cincinnati Nature Center

This is one of the best true nature locations in the area. Boardwalks, creeks, and wooded trails give you endless options. It feels quiet and immersive, which is great for relaxed family sessions. Every season looks completely different here.

Purple People Bridge

This bright purple bridge gives you a bold, modern backdrop. It’s fun, unique, and instantly recognizable. You’ll get skyline views and strong leading lines for more dynamic compositions. Great for families who want something a little different.

Alms Park

Alms Park offers a beautiful stone pergola and sweeping river views. It has a soft, romantic feel that works especially well at sunset. The architecture adds just enough interest without overpowering the family. It’s a quieter alternative to Ault Park.

Spring Grove Cemetery & Arboretum

This spot is incredibly underrated for photos. The historic monuments, lakes, and massive trees create a timeless, almost storybook feel. It’s peaceful and rarely crowded. Perfect for families who want something unique and serene.

Mount Adams

Mount Adams feels like a little European village tucked into Cincinnati. Brick streets, charming staircases, and city overlooks make every corner photogenic. It’s great for more editorial or storytelling sessions. You can get both urban and scenic looks in one session.

Downtown Lebanon

Where else can you find an amazing spot with trains? The location has a beautiful bench in perfect view of the trains and train station. Vintage vibes with amazing colors. Walking around town to visit the tiny parks and historic buildings are a MUST.

Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal

This location is bold, graphic, and completely unique. The art deco architecture creates clean, striking compositions. It’s perfect for families who want something modern and different. Also a great backup for weather since parts are covered.

Mayfield Park

Mayfield Park feels like a hidden garden straight out of a fairytale. There are flowers, ponds, and even peacocks wandering around. It’s intimate and whimsical, perfect for softer, more magical sessions. Great for families with younger kids.

Devou Park Fields & Trails

Beyond the overlook, Devou has gorgeous rolling hills and tree-lined paths. This area gives you a more countryside feel without leaving the city. It’s perfect for golden hour with wide-open skies. A great option for relaxed, natural sessions.

West Fork Park

West Fork Park is quiet, simple, and very family-friendly. It’s a great option when you want a clean, natural background without crowds. The mix of woods and open space keeps things versatile. Perfect for easygoing sessions with kids.
